We are on day 2 of our touring. We got in late last night to Tiberias, on the Sea of Galilee.  I know that I am not alone in wondering what day it is, what time it is and what our body is telling us it is! So I have told myself sleep is so overrated when there is so much to see and experience in the land that Jesus walked and loved! So waking up to an eastern sunrise on the Sea of Galilee this morning just took my breath away…

Our amazing guide Malcolm (yes, that is a biblical name) with a British-Hebrew accent, has made The Book truly come alive like never before, teaching with insight and passion that is hard to explain. He greets us in our “chariot”, ready to teach and share passionately about what it was like even before Jesus walked this beautiful country as well as those sacred days when he stepped where we step today.

We began our day at 7:30 am boarding this boat headed out on the Sea of Galilee. This was a perfect setting to begin our day, maybe even the way Jesus would begin his day, with a devotion, prayer, and worship! (We also saw an ancient vessel, 2,000 years old, that was discovered in 1986.)

So many stops today…Tel Dan, Tel Hazor, Hermon Stream…to name a few. The 4,000 year old Abraham gate is beyond amazing to see. Malcolm told us today that if we remember 5% of what we heard we are doing great, but if we don’t go home and want to learn more from The Book he has failed as our guide and teacher.

Your prayers are greatly appreciated, please keep them coming. Pray for continued safety, retention, and changed lives because of this incredible experience.
